This response will be the last one of 2007, so make it good! This week, I want you to tell me about the theme, or life lesson, of your book. Why do you think the author chose to write this book? What lessons about life are you supposed to learn from your character? Maybe you are learning from your character's mistakes, or maybe you are learning from their success. If you are reading a non-fiction book, then explain what information you have learned, and how you will use it in your own life. Please remember to proof-read your responses. Your responses should be at least 3-5 sentences and should fully answer the question.

"Trust Of Matter". I think the author choose to write this book because it tell bout how people have problem truting their other half and listening to other people. When the other person who don't like you sometime try to do something with other people that might take them away from you and believing what everyone else say about your boyfriend/girlfriend and yelling at that person for something he dont do. This book show you that you just need to trust the people and believe in that person. That how you can learned from the character and her trust problem.
"Best Actress"...I think the author
chose this book because he/she wanted to show how the lavish life in Hollywood, and being on the big screen is. At the same he wanted to show what goes on behind the scenes and what actresses go through to get to the top. He/She
show how concieted and self-centered they can be, but at the same time, he/she shows how caring and loving an actress can be.

"Shooter" is a story about a teenager who was invovled in a school shooting.i think the author choose to write this is to entertain the reader.and show that teens have problems and that there problems can lead to bad things.the story or message in the stroy is just sometimes poeple hang with the wrong people and those people can lead you into trouble.for example Cameron(main character)was friends with Len(shooter)who was really wierd and strange and Len had alot of probs with bullying and stuff so he killed a student who was bullying him.in result Cameron is being questioned and suspected.
hey miss reed
okay well in my book I see that Lucy is definitely not happy. In my opinion, the theme is to follow with what you want and not how people judge your future to be. With Gus, she is definitely unhappy all the time, yet drawn to him everytime he minipulatesw his words to her. I believe that you shouldnt ever listen to what people say is right for you. Do what you feel is right and thats the best. I think the author wrote this book to persue this message to the public.
hey mrs reed,
Im reading secrets in the shadows by anne schraff. I just stsrted this book! i think that the author wrote this book because she likes to write about things that actually happen in the real world .
And another thing is that she (anne schraff)lets you know about the charaters ,the theme of the book ,setting , and real life incidents to.But the mistake that the girl in the book made was that she stop talking to this boy that she was so in love with and then all the sudden she wants to come back in to town and sees him and tries to talk to him .With me and the problems that i go through kind of helps me understand the way that these people in the book feel and what they are going through. bye mrs reed...love you lots!!!!
Hey Mrs. Reed,
Im reading Luna Bay, its a really good book. It's about a girl that loves to surf and her parents are going through a divorice. Her dad's work company wants him to move to Chicago or Nebraska and Rae, the main girl, doesnt want to; Either does her mom or sister. I guess the lesson is that family doesnt always go good and whatever happens, happens.
love ya!
I think that the life lesson for this book.Is that you can't always get what you want. You have to work at being a better person. Things are going to change in life, and you just have to accept it for what it is.
Another reason why i think that the author wrote the book to give a point of veiw, that teens today, can't rely on parents and boys for things.
Lesson's in life that is need to learn is that, even though i don't live with my mom. I have to accept that my aunt is doing every thing for me to give me a normal life. And even though that we fight-, we just have to get over it and move on.
Well, truthfully I am learning the hard way. I have not been so nice lately and that has effected some of the stuff that i used to beable to do. Wanting stuff that i can't have, as my aunt would say i'm just being a brat. :]-*
My book is alled memiors of Sherlock Holmes and what I learned about the book is to never forget clues of little things. You should be able to use the clues for something in my life from the book. The character is trying to stop a criminal that is leaving clues for the detective to find the criminal wich is kind of pointless. But anyways i enjoy the book really well and its very interesting but long.
The book im reading is "SLAM!". I personally think the author is trying to reach out to all the student atheletes who think they can get by in life just by being good with the ball in your hand. They also got to be good in the classroom. Reading this makes me realize that if you dont have the grades also with the talent that you wont get far in life.
Bye ms.reed, love ya!!!

Hey Mrs reed,
I think the life lesson for my book im reading is never fall in love too fast. Forever was about a girl and guy who meet at a party, then started dating. took everything slow for a while. they started to get to know each other more and more and both knew they were in love. She went away to camp and while she was there she realized she didn't love him the way she meant it, and knew forever wasn't anylonger.
my bo0k "cut" is bout a gurl who has problems dealing with her problems the wrong way.i think the life lesson so far in this bo0k is that you need to deal with problems the right way and think before you act or you can get in lots of trouble doe your actions. i'm not learing from the chracters mistakes because i will noty do any of the chacracters do
I dont know what i read

The book I'm reading is "the Lost Boy" by author Dave Teltzer. The story is about a boy who is abused by his own mother and he gets placed the foster care system and trust is something the boy no longer seems to have. I think the author wrote this book because it shows that even though you're having bad things happening to you and you don't trust anyone, things can change if you give someone a chance and it's okay to once again have goals and dreams. I have learned from reading this book, that if you do not allow yourself to learn something good from your bad experiences, your life stays in a cycle, and you can never move forward to better things and meeting good people.
I will apply this to life, because it is an example that no one has control of your life but yourself, and I have control of my future!

In the book Replies believe it or not there really isn't a lesson in it.The theme of the book is stuff that happens, things that people do, or just unbelievable things. The author choose to wright this book because he has seen these things and has some of the things in his museum in St. Augustine. He also wrote this because that is what he does for a living and tells lots of people about these thing. Sorry there is no lesson to learn in my book but it is the best i can do.
i my book stormbreaker i guess the moral is dont take things for granted becaue alex lost his uncle who he lived with and misses hinm so i think it is dont take it that you will just see that person again tomarrow because you never know what will happen from one second to the next in life
the moral of my book is live like you will never see some one again because alex thought he would see his uncle again but he dident so i guess it would be live like every second is your last
Mrs. Reed I am sorry that I have not been blogging lately. It's only because my house phone was cut off and we had no internet. Anyways, I am reading "Stranger With My Face" by Lois Duncan. In this story her boyfriend and one of her friends supposedly saw her on the beach with another guy, but she says that she was at home sick. I think that I have learned from partly reading this whole book is that you should at least try to trust someone if they say something because it might be true.
"The Lovely Bones" i think the author has pointed out that there ARE two sides of every story and no matter what the least person you know will be the biggest suspect.
i think i have learned (already kind of knew) that you shouldnt do anything an less you KNOW its right not THINK.
and thats the biggest thing i can pay attention on.
its that the most inocent person is the one who gets hurts the worst.
and thats another thing i noticed.
i also think the author wrote this to let young girls know that it does happen THAT FAST.
"What do you think of reading story books?"
This is a big question that have for most people in our educational world. My answer to the question is I think reading story books is more of a hobby. The reason for my thought is because I dont know of a profession that you actually HAVE TO read story books so i find it kind of pointless when its not going to be in use in my near future.
Your Friend,

Mrs. Reed,
Ok, so I'm not up to date on my reading, but from what i've read so far i think the author of "The Lovely Bones" wrote the story to entertain and give us a look from different sides. The life lessons that you're probably suppose to learn from this story [from what i've read so far] is to never talk to strange people even if they are neighbors. If you do, then maybe you'll end up dead like the main character of this book.
The book I read was called Eragon. The lesson that the main character portrayed was to set a goal and fight strong and hard to achieve it. I think the author wanted to open up ones imagination. This book just shows hard work and leadership so that others who read might become more of a leader next time a big task is assigned to them.
"Sleeping Freshman Never Lie". The theme of my book was at school. I think the author chose to write the book so he can talk about his high school lif. I think im supposed to learn that his life was boring.
hey mrs reed i'm reading twilight. its about a girl who falls in love with a vampire and edward is falling in love with her but doesn't want to because he knows its wrong but doesn't anyway but the life lesson is that we should always follow our heart
