DYLAN
Battle fields of the mind
JOYCE MEYER pgs 147
This book i though was pretty interesting on what they were talking about. It was about teens and there decisions not too do drugs and have a faithful relationship with jesus. In the book it takes you through real life situations that people have had and i think that is what made it a great book. This book was at my level i think not too hard and not too easy so medium i would say.

THE BULLY
PAUL LANGAN pgs 210
This book i thought was very interesting.Kids that are being bullied is not a good thing and it should not happen in most schools like it already does. This book is a little bit below my standards of reading i would say that i pretty much flew through it with no problems.

OUT OF WAR
SARA CAMERON pgs213
It seemed like out of all the books i read this was the most touching. This boy makes a stand too get a group together and try and stop the gang violence in the streets of CUBA.The marches that they did did not really work but it stopped some of the problems that the cuban people were having. This book was right at my readin level not real hard but just enough of what i needed.

MONSTER
WALTER DEAN MYERS
PGS 270
Ithink that what happened to this man was awful. He was put in jail for something that he didnt even do.Whats bad about it is he tried to tell them that he didnt do what he was sentenced for and they didnt believe him.Which is reasonable because hes in jail and of course they dont want too believe him. This book was over my expectation of reading level it was hard and long.

ANIMAL FARM
GEORGE ORWELL
pgs 150
Any book about animals i would think is funny.IF a pig runs all of the other animals on a farm day and night then its just comic. But one day these other animals try and stand up for there right but it doesnt really work in there favor. Some of the animals end up dieing and some still end up triying. This was another book that was below my reading level i new every word and could read it perfectly.

A CHILD CALLED IT
DAVE PELTZER
pgs 230
This book was by far my favorite out of the seven that i read. For any boy too last as long as he did being beaten and tortured and burned on a stove is just horiffic. He showed a brave amount of courage in the obstacles that he faced with his mom and also proved too overcome them. This book is one that i wouyld be interested in reading and also it wasnt really that difficult either.

RIPLEYS BELIEVE IT OR NOT
MARY PACKARD pgs 165

This is a book that is and always will be interesting to read.Itshows all of the people talents across the worlf. It also shows records or even things that have happened to people and then they will be in the record books. Most of these stories are really interestin to read because it shows a great deal of interest either in the pictures or even just the stories.

Hey Mrs.Reed i read three books. i dont know the authors or pages by mind.

Julio and Romiette

* I really like this book. the most interesting part of the book was their plan to show people there were bullies in their neighborhood.

* I had to only stop for one word because it got me confused with how it was used in a sentence.

* When i read a page or two, my words are smooth and i read perfectly. I can read to myself better than reading to someone or reading out loud.

CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE TEENAGE SOUL
* this is a interesting book. the most interesting part is how people can right these stories into this one book and not get upset.

*i can read every word in this book. but i do have to stop some times because i get upset.

* when i try reading a page. there is always something that i have to stop a second for because i will feal tears rolling down my eyes.

CHICKEN SUOP FOR TEENAGE SOUL FRIENDSHIP VERSION

* this is a different version of chicken for teenage soul. the most interesting part is the comics in the book.

* i can read every word in this book.

* my words are smooth just as my reading.

hey mrs. reed i read two books so far.
the outsiders 198,pgs
whirligig 280,pgs

*The Outsiders was interesting to me because it was about gangs and killing. although it was about killing and gangs it also was sad when two of the gang members died.
*The words was easy to understand because some of them were slang words.
*Actually I went through the book smoothly. the book kept me guessing
wondering what would happen next.
*Its not that I took a long time on the book its that I just read it when i felt like it.

*THe book Whirligig was kind of boring. IT took too long to get to the point at the beginning. It was so many points of views that I got lost in the book.
*The words were easy to understand also. It didnt have many strong hard words.
*It was hard to stay focus reading this book. Like i said it took a long time to get to the point. But the words was easy and smooth.
*It took me a little while because i was fofced to read it.
well thanks mrs.reed for the extra credit. looking foward to a B or an A on my report card.PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Hi Mrs.Reed,

The book I am reading is called A Child Called It. It seems like this book is the most touching book I've done read. This book is right at my reading level. It makes me have more feelings about others. How someone can love someone so much and go through something to keep the other person out of trouble.

Hey Mrs.Reed.
I am still reading Eragon. I have been reading it for a while because I really enjoy it so I reread passages in the book so I can get a full understanding on it before I watch the movie. I am about in the middle of it and still haven't gotten to the climax of it yet. I am on page 246.
